I've always been intrigued by health, but developed a strong passion for it while earning my Bachelor's in Public Health and Nutrition. After I graduated, I became a Certified Personal Trainer, and starting working as a health and wellness coach for a private health company. I worked there for 2.5 years, while teaching spin classes a couple of times a week, and absolutely loved coaching and training individuals to help them achieve their goals.
I recently quit working as a coach after having our first daughter, Piper. I created this website and Instagram while I was pregnant to motivate and be motivated by women in the same boat as me, and as a way to stay involved in health/fitness community. Piper is now a very active one year old, and I am pregnant with our second - due in December!
I am not a health expert, and I don't think you should trust anyone who claims they are. There is always more to learn and health is completely individual, and is not a "one size fits all" type of thing. You have to experiment with it and adapt to figure out what works best for you and your body.
I'm figuring out HOW to live this healthy lifestyle no matter what stage of life I'm in. That's why I decided to create this space - to document my journey, challenge myself, and to learn from and help other women.
