I FINALLY have my laptop back again! HOO-RAH! There's been a lot of different topics and information I want to share on my mind lately, so thankfully now I can!
First things first though, a little pregnancy update. **You can read Piper's pregnancy updates HERE. I love comparing the 2 to see what I was experiencing at this same point with her.
My energy has increased from last week, but I'm definitely noticing a decrease in my stamina. Being on my feet for long periods of time gets to me. Carrying Piper around the store is reeeeally taxing ha. I'm not one to ask for help/admit that I need help, so I've been really humbled lately and realizing that I can't do it all. Insomnia seems to have gone this week though, so I can't complain!
Still just hungry as ever over here. My stomach has felt pretty squished, so I can't eat QUITE as much at once (still a fair amount though haha), but I feel soooo hungry again about an hour after a meal. Apparently baby boy is going through a massive growth spurt right now, and I am sure feeling it! I still can't think of any specific cravings...pretty much anything and everything haha.
He is a WILD one. I'm quite nervous to see how active he'll be when he arrives. I don't know what position he's in now, but whenever I sit down I find it really hard to breath. My lungs feel super squished, and it's pretty uncomfortable. I have a feeling he's going to be much bigger than Piper was!
I've been cycling through the same few items of clothes lately, and I'm over them all haha. I was pregnant with Piper from September - May, so pretty much during the cold months of the year. It was perfect because I just wore my regular leggings and baggy shirts/sweaters, and it worked great. Being pregnant during the summer is hard because I feel too hot/uncomfortable in pants, and all my dresses are getting too snug. Bring on the fall weather!!
Workouts this week were goooood!! It felt amazing to get back to properly exercising again. I've also been going on morning walks with Piper now that the weather isn't over 100 degrees at 7am (don't miss AZ one bit), and I love it! She chats the whole time and waves at all the animals and people we see, and it feels good to start my day with movement. Walking is such a great activity in general, but especially during pregnancy, because it's awesome for the pelvic floor!
