BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: This isn't really pregnancy related, but Piper and I got to go spend a long weekend in Utah with my family. We just barely moved to Arizona haha, but with everyone's summer schedules and what not, it seemed to be the best time. Luckily, the flight from AZ to UT is a little over an hour, but I gotta say, flying alone with a toddler and being pregnant is quite exhausting.
FOOD CRAVINGS: These past couple of days it has been VEGGIES! I want endless amounts of of veggie juices and bowls of veggies. So essentially the complete opposite of how I've been feeling so far. I think I've been so deprived of veggies these 3 months because of the sickness, so my body is finally ready to stock up again. Eggs and avocado are still aaamazing. I've been craving this chicken & broccoli dish my mum makes, and she made it for me the first day we flew in. I'm actually salivating just thinking about it rn.
SYMPTOMS: I'm starting to wake up every night to pee again. Haven't missed that part of pregnancy. I'm feeling SOOOO much better than I did a couple of weeks ago though! I randomly had one day of throwing up and nausea recently, but other than that I feel great! Nausea has gone away, the only food aversion is spinach still, and I'm starting to forget I'm pregnant (because I feel so good). I AM still very exhausted though, and my whole body feels insanely fatigued if I do too much...like exercise for more than 30 minutes or walk up the stairs too many times haha.
BABY BUMP: Still na-da. I don't look pregnant yet, but I still look rather bloated. It essentially looks like I have a beer belly, as Jordan lovingly puts it. He's the worst.
WORKOUTS: Because I've been feeling better, I'm able to start exercising more and more. My intensity is definitely much lower because I feel light-headed a lot of the time, but it feels so good to get a little sweaty and move my body. I'm going to start teaching spin classes again soon which I loved while I was pregnant with Piper, so I'm excited for that. Who wouldn't want to take a spin class from a pregnant lady?!
OTHER: I listened to the baby on our heart rate monitor yesterday and it is SO squirmy. It was hard listening to it's heart because I would find it and hear a sudden swoosh of fluid, and then it would be in another spot. I think I may have felt little flutters already, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
