HOW FAR ALONG: 10 weeks and 4 days. Baby is about the size of a fig..so basically nothing haha. Now that I'm in the double digits of pregnancy, I feel a little more hashtag legit. 1/4 of the way there - I'll take it!!
WEIGHT GAIN: I have no idea. Probably like 2lbs? Some people lose weight in the first trimester, but I think with Piper I gained 5lbs because a) I get bloated af and b) carbs and I are BFFs when I'm sick and nauseous.
BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: Hearing the baby’s heartbeat on our home monitor for the first time on Sunday (and again on Tuesday). Since I don’t see the doctor until I’m 11 ½ weeks, it was SO relieving to know that there really is a baby in there, and it's okay.
FOOD CRAVINGS: Egg and avocado on toast, turkey sandwiches, super crisp apples, and popsicles. I looked back on what I craved with Piper at 10 weeks, and I said the exact same things. Freeeeaky.
FOOD AVERSIONS: It varies day-to-day, but definitely no onions, spinach, broccoli...pretty much most veggies. Ugh, and the smell of meat cooking. Barf. Cheese and greasy foods, too.
BABY BUMP: No "bump" yet, but I'm starting to get thicker around my stomach. When I wake up in the morning with a full bladder, I have a hard bump that sticks up when I'm flat on my back. I'm just starting to feel bloated 24/7. I hear you show much faster with the 2nd baby, so I'm interested to see when it'll "pop".
HORMONES: Sometimes I feel just reeeeally annoyed for no reason haha. Jordan's foot touched my last night as we were going to bed, and I got so frustrated over it ha. Luckily, I recognize when I'm being completely insane. But still. I'm an actual crazy person right now.
WORKOUTS: Definitely nothing special. I try going on walks with Piper after we eat breakfast, because that's usually when I have the most energy, and the weather isn't *too* hot then (just a mild 80 degrees...). This week I was actually able to get in one sweaty-ish workout. It was the first real workout in a looong time, and it felt good. (I post a lot of food/workouts on snapchat: goodfortheswole).
