A very common question while I was pregnant and nursing was what type of protein powder I used. I was very cautious with answering this question because what you put into your body during both of those times is very important, and I'm not super comfortable saying what you should or should not do. FDA regulations require products to state "if pregnant or nursing, consult with your doctor before taking this product". So first off, I would recommend doing just that. Every situation is different, so any type of supplement you're thinking of taking, take into your OB, or take a picture of the ingredients to show them.
With that, Naked Nutrition protein was one product *I* felt completely comfortable taking because there is absolutely nothing to hide, and no sketchy ingredients. It's 100% grass fed whey protein, and that's it.
To be honest, it doesn't taste great by itself. It's not like a lot of protein powders that are PACKED with artificial sweeteners, but taste like a milkshake. I blend it into a smoothie with other ingredients to get some good carbs post workout too, and it tastes awesome!
