I haven't been nursing for very long so I definitely don't know all there is to know about that. We're just getting the hang of things over here! However, something I have noticed from my 2 weeks of breastfeeding is that it's really taking a toll on my posture. My neck and upper back are cuuurazzzy tight from being hunched like an old lady every 2-3 hours!
I mentioned on my Instagram yesterday how I've been laying on my Pranamat every morning to relieve my tight muscles and it's helped soooo much (even though the first couple of minutes are supes painful and prickly). I'm starting to stretch and foam roll a little more as well to relieve those over-stressed muscles. These are some of my favourites that have really helped me so far. Again, I'm only 2 weeks in so I'm learning as I go!
If anyone has any other tips or other stretches, I'd looooove to hear them!!! Disclaimer: plz don't mind my hair. I'd just rolled out of bed #priorities
Upward Facing Dog: hold for at least 30 seconds
Reverse Shoulder Stretch: hold for at least 30 seconds
Cat-Cow Stretch: hold each pose for at least 30 seconds
Doorway Chest Stretch: hold for 30 seconds on each side
Child's Pose: hold for at least 30 seconds
