For the most part, I do eat pretty "clean" and I always make sure the meals I prepare are healthy. Buuuuut having a newborn has made me so tired, exhausted, and overall drained which makes it hard to put a lot of effort into my nutrition during the day! I mentioned this before, but I'm not working towards any specific goals right now so I don't feel the need to be crazy strict, BUT I want to make sure I'm giving my body (and Piper's body) all the good nutrients we need. I've been a little more relaxed than I'd like to be with nutrition lately, so this week I made sure to stock up on my favourite healthy snacks! It makes it easy to grab something when I'm on the go and I know it's good for both me and Piper!
My favourite go-to snacks right now are:
- carrots and hummus

- pasture-raised boiled eggs
- Kevita drinks

- apples and berries
- cottage cheese
- Siggi's yogurt
- protein balls (great for milk supply!)

Staying on track and eating healthy can be SO challenging (especially when all of my attention is on this new little person I have to take care of)...so having these snacks on hand makes the healthy choice easy to make!
