Hello, hello! I hope you guys had an awesome weekend! We were up in Salt Lake at my mum's house all weekend, so that was a hoot! More importantly, this weekend I hit the official one month mark until baby girl joins our family! It's kind of nice knowing when I'll be induced because I can count down to the very day. Only 28 days left!!! Ahhhhh!
Little coconut is 19-21 inches and weighs 5.5lbs! I honestly don't think she ever stops moving. I'm not complaining because I absolutely love it...I'm more concerned...like when does she rest haha?? Seriously, she NEVER stops moving. She always sticks out her booty and curls up. I love it. Also, at my Doctor's appointment last week they said she is head down and all ready to go! I love how prepared she is -definitely my child haha.
The Doctor's office scale is weird so I've never measured my weight gain off it. I've been going off the scale at the gym where I teach...but since I'm not teaching anymore I don't know for sure. I want to say somewhere around 18lbs?
Still getting leg cramps in the night and braxton hicks non-stop but those aren't that terrible. I've been getting sick again if I eat sweet things...especially at night. No more ice cream for me :(. This week I noticed my body is really starting to slow down. I get really exhausted throughout the day and want to nap all day long haha. I'm overall feeling good though! Just starting to get a little more uncomfortable.
I'm a huge fan of walking right now! It feels the best on my body. A "good" workout means something entirely different now than it used to haha, but I'm doing my best at listening to my body and what it needs. I'm still getting in cardio most days (mainly the bike and walking) and light weight training 3-4x a week. I'm glad I've been able to keep it up this long! I think it's helped SO much with aches and pains and energy levels!
I'm happy/sad this journey is coming to an end. Obviously I cannot WAIT to get her here and to hold her!! But I've loved being pregnant (even when it sucks haha). I love having her in my belly and having her with me all the time. I know I'm going to miss it.
