She’s 18 inches and weighs 3.3lbs -apparently the weight of a coconut! She'll be super quiet and sleepy one day, then a complete spaz the next haha. Living the life in there, I tell ya! She's had the hiccups a lot this week which basically makes my stomach look like it has a really intense heart beat or something. My stomach looks super normal when that happens..
I’m continuing to lose a little weight which I'm trying not to worry about, as my OB assured me the baby is growing and is totally fine, and this is normal. It’s supposedly very common during the final trimester as all your organs get squished and you start losing fluid, but it obviously stresses me out a bit!
My stomach is probably the size of a squirrels right now, so I barely eat anything at one time haha. My appetite has increased again though so at least I’m eating a little more that way. Sleep is still a struggle, but that’s nothing new ha. I’m realllllyyyy short of breath these days. I’m gasping for air even when I’m just sitting down! The baby is wayyyy up there in my ribs and is crowding my lungs so it’s pretty difficult to expand them properly. I feel like I’m barely getting enough oxygen which is a rather uncomfortable feeling. You can see how high up she is in this picture:
Because I’m having trouble breathing, cardio has been a struggle (I don’t want to die after all). I’m still teaching 2 spin classes a week but I think I may stop at 8 months (the end of this month). Other than that I’m doing a lot of walking, yoga, and weight training!
No cravings still. One night oreos sounded good so I bought some mint ones. Of course I could only eat a couple though because my stomach is the size of a peanut. Booo! Jordan’s trying to fatten me up and is constantly asking if I have room to eat and what he can get me. Bless his heart!
And for entertainment purposes - 24 weeks compared to 31 weeks. Lol.
